With a strong professional background and a passion for storytelling, Prof. Rehan continues to make significant contributions to the ever-evolving media landscape.

Dr. Asad Ali Shah
Co-Founder Fake News Watchdog
Dr. Asad Ali Shah is a professor, researcher, and entrepreneur. He has earned his Ph.D. in media and sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He has been teaching at different universities in Pakistan and Canada. He has also been conducting professional training workshops and seminars at national and international forums. He is the author of a number of publications, including a book, journal articles, and reports. After completing his doctoral degree in Canada, Dr. Shah returned to Pakistan in 2018 to serve his country.

Muhammad Nasir Butt

Muhammad Nasir Butt is a seasoned journalist and academic, currently serving as a Senior Correspondent for Public TV and Deputy Editor at Global Diplomacy Lens. With extensive experience in media, he has previously worked with Capital TV and GNN, earning a reputation for insightful reporting and analysis.
In addition to his journalistic endeavors, Nasir is an educator, teaching media and communication courses at prestigious institutions in Islamabad, including IIU and Rawalpindi Women University. He holds an MPhil in Media and Communication and is presently pursuing a PhD in Media, further cementing his expertise in the field.

Prof. Dr. Wang Shengli

Wang Shengli, male, was born in 1965 in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province,China. He is a professor at Xijing University and a master’s supervisor in the field of sociology. He also holds concurrent positions as a council member of the Chinese Rural Sociology Association, a council member of the Shaanxi Provincial Sociology Association, a council member of the Xi’an Community Work Research Association, and a member of the Chinese Folklore Society. He has long been engaged in research on folklore studies, social modernization, institutional sociology, urban and rural sociology, and intangible cultural heritage. He has presided over and participated in 2 National Social Science Fund projects and more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level projects. His published works include Research on the Construction of Institutional Sociology System: A Sociological Institutional Analysis Paradigm, Study on Regional Modernization in the Guanzhong Area, and Oral History of Inheritors of Shaanxi Shadow Puppetry, among others. He has also published over 40 academic papers in related fields.

Rubab Jaffery has extensive experience in the media industry in Pakistan, and had the opportunity to study and research in Uk in journalism, that enable her to explore how media industry works around the world.
Her work primarily focuses on the role of media and its impact during global conflicts. She has expanded this research to examine not only mainstream news outlets but also the influence of citizen journalism and social media.
As an independent researcher, she is currently investigating the role of citizen journalism, the challenges it faces, and the effective use of social media in the public sphere.

Sophia Siddiqui

Sophia Siddiqui is a seasoned journalist, academic, and media strategist with extensive experience in both national and international platforms. With a decade-long career at Radio Pakistan, she has also worked as a special correspondent and project manager at Pro Pakistan. Her contributions span across leading media organizations, including Pakistan Observer, BBC Urdu, and other outlets as an independent journalist. Currently, she serves as the Manager of International Media at NDMA and She leads various media initiatives such as TawarePakistan, Tawarwepakistan and Glory Media, focusing on, youth, women, engagement, and environmental journalism.

Saira Kazmee
Senior Researcher
Saira Kazmee is a Lecturer in International Relations at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, where she teaches global politics and diplomacy. She previously worked as a Researcher at the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) and currently serves as Assistant Editor at the Asian Journal of International Peace and Security (AJIPS). Saira holds an MS in International Relations from Bahria University Islamabad, with a thesis focused on the Kashmir conflict, and an MA in Political Science from the University of the Punjab. She is also a Senior Researcher at Fake News Watchdog and the Pakistan Africa Institute for Development and Research. In addition, she serves as Director of the National Building Organization, leading humanitarian projects both in Pakistan and internationally. Saira frequently appears on TV talk shows, offering expert analysis on human rights crises.
