India’s Fake News Campaign Targets Pakistani Prime Minister with Health Hoax

Claim:

In recent days, following the attack in the occupied Kashmir region of Pahalgam, tensions between Pakistan and India have risen. In this charged atmosphere, a fake notification was circulated by Indian social media accounts, claiming that Prime Minister of Pakistan @CMShehbaz hospitalized amid India-Pakistan tension. The fake notification was crafted to resemble an official document, stating: “Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan @CMShehbaz has been admitted to the CMH hospital in Rawalpindi on April 27, 2025, for a medical examination and treatment of hemorrhoids. His condition is stable, and he is under the supervision of expert doctors. All concerned offices are instructed to maintain strict confidentiality. Disclosure to media or public forums is prohibited unless authorized by the @PakPMO Media Wing or @MoIB_Official.”

Reality:

However, after thorough investigation by our team, it became clear that this notification is fake. The news is not only baseless but also constitutes malicious and misleading propaganda against the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

@CMShehbaz is in perfect health and he has been carrying out his official duties without any hindrance or health-related issues. This has been further substantiated by evidence, including his attendance at the 52nd meeting of the Council of Common Interests in Islamabad on April 28, 2025. Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister @CMShehbaz appeared in a group photograph with the four Chief Ministers, and these official images have been publicly released, providing clear confirmation of his good health.

Conclusion:

Such fabricated and false news clearly reflects that certain elements in India are intentionally spreading misleading information to disrupt Pakistan’s political and public landscape. This irresponsible act only serves to escalate existing regional tensions. The public is urged to refrain from participating in such rumors and to rely solely on verified and credible information, prioritizing national interests. #PahalgamTerroristAttack#IndiaPakistanTensions#PMHealthRumors#PropagandaExposed#FakeNews @pmln_org
